Let’s try some simple chord progressions.
If you're still working on memorizing those chords, here's that chart again:

Start with Am.
Move your third finger to the third fret of the A string. Did you see what happened? What chord did it turn into?
The position you should be on now is C. Tapping your foot in rhythm, play each chord 4 times and then switch to the other. Go back and forth a few times, trying to keep a steady count of 1..2..3..4..1..2..3..4.
What do you think? How does it sound?
Now move to the C position. From there, lift up your third finger, and move your first finger to the 2nd fret of the A string. This will bring you to Em. Try moving between C and Em a few times.
From Em, move your 2nd finger to the third fret of the low E string, and then put your third finger on the third fret of the high e string. This will bring you to G. Switch between Em and G a few times.
You’re doing great! Keep at it! Try the entire progression now, keeping a steady 1..2..3..4 beat throughout. See if you can play it a few times in a row

I know it’s difficult at first, but keep trying! Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you get stuck.
If you get bored with that, try this one:

Keep at it! Chord structures form the backbone of all modern songs.
